Expecting week by week #34

Liz got a cute haircut this week. Just a note to assure that life is not all about the babies.

Remember being so pregnant that you dissappear and it's all about the baby? - Liz is still there doing a great job of staying healthy! She announced today that she is officially waddling!

I got to feel JD having hiccups this week - what fun!

Still smiling and in the home stretch - 36 weeks is full term and the doctor says she'll induce if she hasn't delivered by 38 weeks. We can hardly believe it!

Expecting Week by Week #33

Liz is getting a little uncomfortable.

Nights are pretty sleepless with no way to find a good position.

Holly and J.D. when you read this someday you will see how much your mommy (and daddy) loved you even before you were born!

Birthday - a time to remember

Today is grandpa Hopkins birthday. We have so many wonderful memories.

Expecting week by week #31

There's a lot of baby in there - 4 lbs. each!

Liz is getting around well - no waddling or hefting off the couch.

As Jim says, "She's a strong girl." As Liz asks, "How much bigger can I get?" Stay tuned as we answer that question...

Spring

The promise of Spring is that when summer rolls around there will be Apples

and grapes (if we can keep the racoons from eating them all)

And blackberries - which need to be thinned because they're choking out my favorite lilac bush...

And someday Holly and JD can sing Popcorn Popping on this apricot tree!!

Why didn't I plant fruit trees 16 years ago when we moved into the house? Can you imagine the bountiful harvest we would have? Oh well, better late than never!
