Expecting week by week #25

Happy Liz still hanging in there with a bit of backache from all the weight up front
I found these little sneakers and had to get them for JD - they're tiny so Jim says he'll have to wear them in the hospital.
Happy days for the Hopktwins

Expecting week by week #24

We changed background locations to get the contrast with Liz's light shirt-even Liz is amazed when she sees these pictures.
Holly will look so cute in this little outfit!!
We all "heart" Holly and JD.
It's a day after valentines day valentine from the mommy and daddy.

Happy Birthday Doug!

Who knew when he was born under difficult circumstances (breech and not breathing...) that he'd turn into such a delightful man. I love being his mom - hope you have a wonderful, happy birthday son.
It's been a great year for Doug - he found his one and only - sweet Cate.
Life just keeps getting better and better now.

Expecting week by week #23

This little girl is popping out there!
She looks like her tiny self from the front - these nike shorts for JD look a little big but they were a deal - he'll need them someday!
We are having so much fun - the best part is watching Jim and Liz so sweet with each other.
Grandma Raab came to visit and set them up with cribs and a changing table - we wish they'd move here - we could have so much fun!

Elder Hopkins in Montana

We got no explanation with these photos so I'll let you use your imagination.
I think Montana is Big Sky country - I didn't know it was also Big moon country. Steven said it's pretty warm but gets very icy at night. He's very proficient at sliding and hasn't fallen for quite some time.

Above we see Steven with his companion. He is driving a car in the snow. It makes me a little nervous but not nearly as nervous as having missionaries half way around the world. I'm so thankful Steven is in the U.S. They are having success with families taking the discussions. Very exciting times.
He loves the people in Montana. We're so thankful for his willingness to serve and for their willingness to take care of our boy.

Expecting week by week #22

The kids are kicking up a storm. Johnny got to feel a kick and was quite shocked!
Again - the cutest pregnant girl ever!
Jody, Liz's mom flew in from the east coast for Tuesday's sonogram. What a treat to have her here - she's a delight and a great genealogist.
She helped us find some ancestor info and inspired me to keep working on family history. Don't you love that cute polka dot dress?

super bowl

This was the most exciting thing about the super bowl - for me anyway - I didn't really see any of the game...
Everyone enjoyed the 3D commercial but agreed it was a bit of a dissappointment. Supposedly Chuck is in 3D tonight, we love the Nerd Herd!
Dave needs a new lounge chair - this one has a decided lean....I'll just put it on the "to do" list!
