Elder Hopkins in Montana

We got no explanation with these photos so I'll let you use your imagination.
I think Montana is Big Sky country - I didn't know it was also Big moon country. Steven said it's pretty warm but gets very icy at night. He's very proficient at sliding and hasn't fallen for quite some time.

Above we see Steven with his companion. He is driving a car in the snow. It makes me a little nervous but not nearly as nervous as having missionaries half way around the world. I'm so thankful Steven is in the U.S. They are having success with families taking the discussions. Very exciting times.
He loves the people in Montana. We're so thankful for his willingness to serve and for their willingness to take care of our boy.

I GUESS THAT IS HOW STEVEN IS SHARING THE BIG SKY COUNTRY WITH YOU CALIFORNIANS. JUST WAIT TIL HE GETS A PICTURE OF THE NORTHERN LIGHTS. THEY ARE STUNNING.

HE LOOKS GREAT AND DO YOU WANT TO HEAR THE FUNNIEST THING? WELL IF NOT I AM STILL GOING TO SHARE, SHANE STILL TO THIS DAY WHEN HE SAYS A FAMILY PRAYER--PRAYS THAT "WHILE MATT IS SERVING HIS MISSION IN MONTANA HE WILL BE SAFE." HOW FUNNY IS THAT? I CRACK UP EVERYTIME AND THEN I REMIND HIM THAT IT IS STEVEN--SERVING IN MONTANA. HE SAYS "OH YEAH IF FORGOT--I GUESS I GOT SO USE TO PRAYING FOR MATT THAT IT IS HABIT." SO THERE YOU HAVE IT. SHANE REMEMBERS YOU STEVEN--HE JUST THINKS YOU ARE MATT. HOPE YOU CAN FORGIVE HIM.

WE LOVE YOU AND ARE PROUD OF YOU.
